Professional Experience
Ronald Frigo graduated in law with honours. In 1998 he was admitted as a barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland. Over the period 1998 to January 2018, almost 20 years, he practised at the Queensland private bar appearing in all courts and tribunals, including trial and appellate jurisdictions which sit in Queensland.
He specialises in litigation, across the commercial, civil and criminal jurisdictions, within his areas of practice, and has built an established mediation practice. He has advised and appeared for and against Commonwealth, State and Local Governments. He has acted as the barrister for litigants in high profile cases, including cases of special interest and public importance.
As a Partner of Frigo James Legal he now enjoys a broad legal practice as a solicitor which includes work in Brisbane and regional areas, including the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales. He has worked with and against some of the most prominent and respected legal minds in this State, including pre-eminent Queens Counsel and now serving judges of the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and Federal Court.
